IPPostcode DDNS service can be used by Aliens or Zip DVR/NVRs providing remote access for phones, tablets and computers.
Each Alien or Zip DVR/NVR is supplied with 3 years of free connectivity to our IPPostcode servers after which there are a few options detailed below;
Option 1 – Renew IPPOSTCODE DDNS online.

Option 2 – Setup your own DNS service.
You are under no obligation to use our IPPOSTCODE service, most DVRs and indeed, most routers, offer alternatives such as NoIP, DynDNS and PeanutHULL.
These third parties require you to create an account with them and all communication with them is via the email address associated with that account.
This would be classed as a "DIY - Do it yourself" solution as a result of this, we will not be able to support you should you decide to go with them.

Option 3 – Trade Installers can pay over the phone.
You can pay for the IPPOSTCODE DDNS over the phone, on behalf of the end-user or yourself.
Simply call our team with the serial number of the recorder and payment details.

Option 4 – GET IT FREE - ZIP VIP club customers.
If you are an installer you can actually get free rolling IPPostcode DDNS with our ZIP VIP Scheme.
All you need to do to qualify for the VIP ZIP club is to purchase 2 or more ZIP DVRs or NVRs (can be mixed) every 6 months on average, its a simple as that.

Considering the benefits and cost of new recorder vs paying for IPPOSTCODE and using older technology, it can be more economical to buy a new recorder.
